Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2007 from Ali, Western Tibet, in the Himalayas !

I reached Ali upon Indus on Christmas Day and I am now preparing to leave for Mt Kalaish, on January 1st. and then, head to India via Nepal and return to France end of January.

A newsletter of this 1400km journey between Kaxgar and Ali is under construction ; Unfortunately, Internet connections are extremely slow or erratic and I may not be able to send it before I leave...

Next Internet available ? ... Nepal ? ...India ?

This fantastic year 2006 is now getting to an end... May now 2007 be as wonderful as you may dream it !
